These Terms of Use govern your use of Par Possible at parpossible.com, including its articles, free resources, and paid digital products. By using the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.
1. General Information Only
Par Possible provides general educational information for recreational golfers. It is not professional golf instruction, medical advice, fitting advice, or an official interpretation of the Rules of Golf.
Golf results vary by player, practice quality, physical ability, equipment, course conditions, and other factors. Par Possible does not guarantee that you will break 100, lower your handicap, avoid injury, or achieve any other result.
Stop any activity that causes pain or cannot be performed safely. Consult an appropriately qualified professional when your situation requires individual instruction, medical advice, fitting, or an official rules decision.
2. Accounts, Checkout, and Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate contact and billing information when purchasing a product. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Par Possible may refuse or cancel an order when fraud, unauthorized payment activity, a pricing error, or misuse is reasonably suspected. If a completed payment is canceled by Par Possible, the amount charged will be refunded.
3. Digital Delivery
Digital products are delivered electronically through the checkout confirmation, customer account, order email, or a combination of those methods. You are responsible for entering an email address you can access and for downloading or saving the product after delivery.
If an order email or download link does not arrive or work, contact hello@parpossible.com with the email address used for the order and the order number if available. Par Possible will make a reasonable effort to restore access or provide a working copy.
4. Personal-Use License
Unless a product page states otherwise, free and paid downloads are licensed to one purchaser for personal, noncommercial use.
You may download, print, and use the material for your own golf practice. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, upload, share publicly, remove ownership notices from, or present the material as your own. You may not use the material to train, populate, or create a competing product or commercial service without written permission.
Purchasing a product transfers a limited license to use it; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying content or intellectual property.
5. Refunds
Purchases are governed by the separate Digital Product Refund Policy posted on this site. That policy is incorporated into these terms.
6. Affiliate Links and Third Parties
Par Possible may use affiliate links and may receive a commission when you purchase through one, at no additional cost to you. Material affiliate relationships should be disclosed near the relevant recommendation and on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
Third-party websites, products, payment services, and links are controlled by their respective owners. Par Possible is not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, policies, or performance.
7. Intellectual Property
The Par Possible name, original articles, downloads, graphics, frameworks, and product materials are owned by Par Possible or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may link to public pages and quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original page. Any broader reproduction or commercial use requires written permission.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use the site to:
- violate applicable law or another person’s rights;
- interfere with the site’s operation or security;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or nonpublic content;
- introduce malicious code or automated abuse;
- scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the site for a competing commercial purpose;
- misuse refunds, chargebacks, promotions, or download access.
9. Availability and Corrections
Par Possible aims to keep its content and products accurate and available, but does not promise uninterrupted service or that every page is complete, current, or error-free. Product prices, specifications, external links, golf rules, and availability can change.
Par Possible may correct errors, update content, change or discontinue a product, or temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Par Possible will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or its materials.
For a claim connected to a paid product, Par Possible’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for that product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
Par Possible may update these terms as the site, products, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
